Born in Israel 1948, lives and works in Hod-Hasharon and in Old Jaffa, Israel.
Varda Carmeli is a multidisciplinary artist (painting, installation and photography).
Varda dedicated herself to art after she carried out an International Marketing business
as well as Start-up projects.
She has lived for several years in South America, Central America and Spain.
Varda has specialized in photography and printing at the Tel-Aviv Art Museum
and at the "Midrasha" Academy of Art.
During the last years she has been focusing on photographic projects, combining
subjective documentary, street snapshot and innovative photography.
Varda's art has been acquired by private collections in Israel and abroad.
Member - IMPACT, the Professional Visual Artists Association, Israel.
In 2007 Varda Carmeli opened Studio 20 in Old Jaffa, Israel, which serves
as a photography studio as well as a gallery hosting artists engaged in contemporary photography.
