מסע בנוף, גרמניה, 2007

הצילומים נעשו תוך כדי נסיעה ברכב במהלכו של יום שלם, בתקופה שבין סתיו לחורף. אלה צילומי נוף מונוכרומטיים בעלי צבעוניות משתנה של אור וחושך, היוצרים תחושה של יופי מצד אחד ומאבק ואמוציה מצד שני, אנטיתזה פסטורלית מאיימת ובעלת מטען, אשר מגדירה מחדש את מערך היחסים בכלל והצילומי בפרט שבין האובייקט והסובייקט. בנסיעה עם הפנים קדימה מודגש חוסר האונים של צילום דימויים מהעבר.

A Scenic Journey, Germany, 2007

The photographs were taken while traveling by car for an entire day in the period between autumn and winter. These are monochromatic photographs of landscapes with varying degrees of colorfulness of light and dark that create a feeling of beauty on the one hand and on the other hand of struggle and emotion, a pastoral antithesis both threatening and charged that redefines the relationship in general and the pictorial in particular between the object and the subject. Traveling while looking ahead emphasizes the helplessness of photographing images from the past.
