An Israeli Microcosmos in Time of COVID-19
Over time, and within the emotional state that the pandemic has thrust me into, an inspiration has sprouted within me to document, if only a little, the crisis that we are enduring – a crisis coupled with cautious optimism – both for those who are still experiencing the harsh pandemic and for those who, in due course, will want to know what it was like. This book contains images that I photographed in my roam-abouts over a six-month period. They illustrate an experience in times of a pandemic, that is at once personal and collective – an Israeli microcosm.
